Hello, Not sure if there is anyone out there as there don't seem to be many people posting but just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for a headset? I am also a little thrown as I don't quite understand exactly what headset I need. As in, on things I have read online, I am getting the impression that people have bought a certain kind of headset for their training but have then needed to buy another headset and phone for going live. Can anyone explain exactly what I need and recommend a particular (inexpensive) brand? Thanks Kirsty

Thanks Andy.
Think I am just being a bit thick at the moment. I promise I'm not normally like this! So does the headset just plug into the landline telephone? So do I need to get a fancy telephone or will it plug into any kind of phone?
Sorry for the silly questions. I usually work in accounts so am great with numbers but rubbish with technical things!

Hi Kirsty. Andy has already posted helpful info for you. I'm probably a little late with the reply, but if you're looking for a voip headset for your computer (rather than a telephone headset) i bought an inexpensive one from Tesco for only £5. It's the one with the jack (i think it's called) not one of those USB ones. In the 1st day of class the mic didn't work. I was going to bin it, but miraculously it's been fine ever since! You don't need anything too expensive to be honest. Regarding headsets for your phone, keep your eyes peeled on ebay. You occasionally see some good deals on headset and phone bundles. As i had a cordless phone at home i had to buy a corded one. I got a complete bundle for £30 with free postage. Anyway, good luck with it all . I'm hoping to certify sometime next week!
